Word closes when invoking ClaimMaster

If Word closes when you try to use ClaimMaster or you receive error messages after opening Word about ClaimMaster.dotm template, it might be due to template corruption.

There is a quick fix for the issue.

With Word closed, open File Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\ClaimMaster\ directory and double-click or press Enter to run a batch file called install_for_current_user.bat

Then open Word again and see if that resolves the issue. Running the batch file will reset your currently installed ClaimMaster template in the Word Startup folder with the default version.

If ClaimMaster still doesn't show up in Word after resetting templates and settings, you an also check whether the add-in is getting loaded by Word. It might've been placed in inactive state by Word. If you open Word, then go to File, click Options, then Add-ins, then Manage Word Add-ins at the bottom, you'll get a window that shows the loaded add-ins. Do you see ClaimMaster there in the list? Is it unchecked? If it is, then try re-enabling it back to see if ClaimMaster tab appears in Word after this.

You can also check if the add-in was "hard" disabled within Word. To check whether ClaimMaster add-in is on the disabled list, go to File, click Options, then Add-ins, then Manage Disabled Items - >Go...

If ClaimMaster add-in appears on the list of disabled items, re-enable it back.
